Myth are changeable in the sense that they can be changed but continue meaning the same thing.

Myths are none dependent of a past reality. They are not attached to past assumptions.
Unlike philosophical reflexions which are linked to a empirical presumptions.

Myth are also subject to mean several things from one same myth.

It's also important to note out, that the reason for why we are telling the myth are never really mentioned, and shouldn't be.
The thing here is that we are able to build our own meaning of a myth, to later build our own myths.

Derrida lit la philosophie comme des mythes pour bricoler.

A myth is only existent by the dynamics of the things inside the myth
